Do you work on both commercial and residential properties?
Yes — about half our volume is commercial (offices, retail, multi-family, industrial) and half is residential. We use the same crews, the same materials, and the same prep standards on both. The only difference is scheduling: commercial jobs are often done after hours or on weekends.
Can work be done outside normal business hours?
Yes. For occupied offices, retail spaces, and multi-family buildings, we regularly work evenings and weekends so tenants and customers aren't affected. We'll plan the schedule around your occupancy calendar, not the other way around.
What's included in a written estimate?
A line-item breakdown of prep work, materials (brand, product line, sheen, color), labor by area, schedule, and total cost. No vague lump sums. If the scope changes, we notify you before any additional work is done.
How far in advance should we book?
Residential jobs can typically be scheduled within 1–3 weeks. For larger commercial scopes or multi-site programs, we recommend planning 4–6 weeks out so we can align crew availability with your timeline and operational windows.
Are you licensed and insured for commercial work?
Yes. Orchard Painting LLC is fully licensed and bonded for commercial and residential work in Michigan. Documentation is available on request before any project begins.
What paint brands and products do you use?
We're certified applicators for Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore product lines and use their professional-grade products exclusively — ProMar, Duration, Emerald on the Sherwin side; Aura, Ben, and Regal on the Benjamin Moore side. We'll specify the exact product for your surface and environment in the estimate.
